The ComputerCut electronically controlled film cutting system is the latest innovation in professional window tinting. This system allows our tint specialists more time for window preparation with less imperfections in the film. Not only does this provide a much more efficient method for film application, job completion time is significantly lower than with traditional film cutting methods without sacrificing quality.
How Does It Work?
The ComputerCut system utilizes an online database from which vehicle specific window patterns are downloaded. These patterns are updated on a regular basis to ensure a perfect fit on every vehicle. From the program screen our filmhandlers can modify the patterns to accomodate variations in window size, as well as imbedding custom designs and lettering. Once the film is ready to be cut it is sent to a contractor-grade plotting machine loaded with large rolls of uncut window film. The plotting machine is capable of cutting the pattern to a degree of accuracy and speed that far surpasses that of hand-cutting methods. This also allows our filmhandlers more time for window preparation, increasing our efficiency and productivity.
What Else Can It Do?
The use of ComputerCut gives us the opportunity to offer customers the option of adding imbedded graphics to tinted windows in a variety of colors and an almost endless choice of designs. While applying colored or reflective window film to an automotive window in it's entirety is illegal there are virtually no limits to what we can imbed within that window.
